Nevada online poker has been up and running since 2013. It is currently one of only three states to formally legalize online play.
Unfortunately, the past six years haven’t brought too many operators to the table. WSOP.com (World Series Of Poker) is running the only licensed online poker room in the state at the moment.
Nevada Online Poker Operators
The following Nevada online poker operators are currently available for play within state boundaries:
|Nevada Online Poker Operator||Welcome Bonus|
|WSOP||100% match on first deposit worth up to $1000.|
Nevada originally housed three online poker operators: WSOP, Ultimate Poker and Real Gaming. Ultimately, only WSOP.com was able to create enough traffic on their site to stay alive. This lead to both Ultimate Poker and Real Gaming closing down operations permanently.
WSOP Online Poker
As the only running online poker operator in Nevada, WSOP doesn’t have much in the form of competition. This hasn’t stopped the site however from continuously providing its users with a top gaming experience which rivals the best online poker platforms in the world.
The World Series Of Poker (WSOP) opened in Nevada back in 2014 and is part of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation. In 2015 the brand signed agreements with 888 Poker in Delaware to share player pools. This greatly increased the traffic on the site. The player pool was further expanded in 2018 with the addition of New Jersey players as well.

Nevada Online Poker Legalization
Nevada online poker became legal on Feb. 21, 2013, when Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval signed Assembly Bill 114. The signing allowed for interstate liquidity which occurred between Nevada and Delaware in 2014, when players from WSOP.com and 888 Poker merged together to form one play pool.
Ultimate Poker was the first online operator to enter the market but was not able to keep a high enough liquidity to stay. Since then the only successful operator, WSOP and another failed venture, Real Gaming, have been the only two other operators to enter the market.
It is expected that other top brands will enter the market as more and more states begin to legalize online poker, bringing in a greater amount of liquidity into the US online poker market.
Nevada Online Poker Verdict
While the Vegas poker scene might be dominated by live games, WSOP.com is starting to build a solid base of online poker players in the state. At the moment WSOP is the only running online poker operator. However, this is expected to change as the US begins to loosen the noose on online poker play in other states.
For now, you can start playing at WSOP.com and use the Welcome Bonus, offering all new users the chance to get up to $1000 in bonus cash on their first deposit.
